Dr. Taylor believes that achieving optimal oral health relies on a patient/doctor partnership for health. His emphasis while communicating with patients is to listen first because jumping into treatment too quickly, without a clear picture of the patients whole body health, can do more harm than good.

He lives in beautiful San Luis Obispo County with his wife Jaymie and three children. He loves to be in the company of others, close friends, or casual acquaintances. Raised in a small town himself, he feels right at home in Morro Bay where you just can’t help but bump into to someone you know . . . anywhere you go.
By continually exceeding California continuing education requirements, Dr. Taylor can provide you with the most up-to-date and broad-ranging services. He graduated from The University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry, is an accredited member of the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology), and a general member of the AGD (Academy of General Dentistry), CCDA (California Central Coast Dental Association), CDA (California Dental Association), ADA (American Dental Association), Weston Price Foundation and Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation.
His personal interests run deep in nutrition and wellness.
He is a do-it-your-selfer with projects ranging from building a backyard climbing wall for the kids to making furniture for the office. He values reading, music, drawing, and exploring natural spaces.
Dr. Taylor loves teaching and learning. In addition to his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, he holds multiple degrees in the humanities and has studied Communications and Integrative Biological Dental Medicine on a Doctoral level.
Dr. Taylor strives to maintain a delicate whole-life balance for himself and within his family. His knowledge and education is caringly passed on to his patients.
